鋰硫電池是一種新體系二次電池,因其高比能量、環境友好等特點,引起了人們**的關注。然而鋰硫電池的發展仍面臨較大的技術挑戰。含硫活性物質的導電性較差,充放電過程中的反應速率較慢,正極的硫的利用率不足。此外,正極在充放電過程中產生可溶性的多硫化鋰,其在正負極之間的“穿梭效應”導致電池庫倫效率和循環穩定性的降低。
通過化學修飾的方法將導電的碳納米管與金屬酞菁類配合物以化學鍵合的方式結合,獲得的鋰硫正極催化材料**提高了鋰硫電池在高單位面積載硫量條件下的比容量、倍率性能和循環穩定性。
金屬酞菁是擁有18π電子結構的金屬-N4大環共軛體系,具有**的催化性能。中心金屬原子不完全占用的dz軌道為導電碳材料和多硫化物之間的電子交換提供了通道,酞菁配合物及其外圍取代基包含豐富的極性基團,在催化多硫化物轉化的同時可發揮較強的吸附作用。該研究團隊將四氨基酞菁鈷與多壁碳納米管通過腫胺(C-NH-C)共價連接,形成了4-6nm的外圍修飾層。該結構保持了多壁碳納米管的高導電性,表面均勻分布的四氨基酞菁鈷提供了豐富的親硫活性位點(Co)和親鋰活性位點(N)。在Co-N4和外圍取代基氨基(-NH2)的協同作用下,材料可以**地吸附多硫化物并**提高其液相和液-固轉化過程的反應速率,**多硫化鋰的“穿梭效應”,促進放電產物Li2S的均勻形核與生長。即使在高單位面積載硫量(7mg·cm-2)以及較大倍率下(4C),正極也能保持較好的容量和循環穩定性,電池的性能得到了**的提高。
